Skagit River Rafting among nature's lap

In the long weekend of may, i went for rafting in Skagit river along with bunch of friends. It was an awesome experience. We reached there on early Saturday morning. The drive was good with trees,mountains and full of natural beauty. Just like going to mother nature. We camped there on Saturday night. It was good with friends opening their heart. Saturday we noon we rafted for nearly 4 hours. It was great experience. When you sail in boat and you see the cold water flowing from mountains with clouds touching them, it creates a mystical feeling. You think of submitting yourself to the nostalgic feeling of nature. Though the level was 2-3, we loved as it was our first rafting. There is an American couple who were sitting in front, who agreed to marry on that same day. Romance on boat you can say. Our trainer was a lady and we were her first commercial tours. She was really helpful and taken our care so much it reminded me of hospitality that we used to get back in India. It was an amazing experience. Her co staff were also good. They cooked vegetarian stuff for us as most of us were vegetarians. On Sunday we went for hiking to the nearby mountain. It was such a scenic beauty with a small water fall and power generation station near by. It was indeed a great pleasure to watch. It reminded me of "ganda hati" water fall which is near paralakhemundi. When you went for boating on Sunday, the weather was cold like hell. Wee could not feel our hands and we told our instructor that whether we can paddle quickly so that we will reach soon to the shore. After reaching the shores, we ran towards our car and switched on the heater to get some warmth. We got life in car and that experience was very chilling. With the bright sky calling and leaving behind the beauty of nature, we left towards Bellevue on Sunday after noon with a rich and satisfying holiday experience... It was really a much needed break from the busy day of city life........

Apartment Change is not an easy task

This weekend has been hectic. Last week was as usual busy with the completion of enhancement module that i am handling. Nearly all issues has been dealt. As this month end, i am going to leave the apartment, decided to clean the apartment. The apartment has not been cleaned since last two years except the carpet. It was really a tidy task considering the promptness of my roomies. We spend till after noon time to clean the apartment. All were tired. Then we went on to help my friend Rexy shifting his room. In the noon we ordered pizza, as usual Sandeep was happy. He is one of my roomies and he loves pizza like hell. I had no other option except to eat pizza as i do not have energy to cook. n the night, we got invitation from Soumya to have dinner in his room mate. In my friend circle, he is the best cook. What ever he cooks it has taste. Dinner was satisfying considering the variety of dishes that he cook along with cold coffee. Then we returned home and does some surfing and then went to sleep peacefully. In USA, changing the apartment is not an easy task. You have to give the room in the same condition that you took. Everything should be net and clean. If you do not do that you have to pay heavy charges. We have tried to clean it a lot and god knows what will happen once we leave the apartment.This rule is good because it makes sure that you have to maintain the cleanness of your room. So guys always clean your apartment in the weekend.........

Coach Issue..An embarassment for BCCI

Finally the coach issue has been biggest embarrassment for BCCI. The biggest sports academy and board is in disarray. How can they offer the post to somebody who has not made his mind? It has been biggest mistake by BCCI till now. May be the team will do better with out a coach. I think Indian team is missing the fire under their belt which they used to be. The team that was grouped together for success seems to be gone. Nobody seems perfect and crowd is no more enjoying their game. they see each player as selfish person. Nobody knows what has happened to the team and it's spirit. Nobody knows when they will rise from ashes..Everybody only prays that the team will do good.. Till the BCCI finds another suitable coach, the team may perform depending on it's mood, which no body can guarantee.. Till then just keep a watch on it..

Shiavji Craze

Shivaji The Boss...Boy that movie was having such a craze in US, no body has seen before. Tamilians are really crazy about Rajni. Undoubtedly he is the super star of Tamil cinema and highest paid actor of India. When i went to see that movie in a theater where the price of ticket is twice of English movies. It was totally packed and the crowd was good. When the movie started , the crowd danced and whistled. It was a worth feeling. I felt as if i am in India. Rajni's style are popular. People were whistling till the end of the movie. For me it was an comedy movie and he is the nest comedy actor. rajni does those style in such a scene that it does not look over the world like Balakrishna of Telugu movie. Rajni is famous for his charity and down to earth life. Before watching this movie, i got a mail, which described the real life of that actor. Unlike Amitabh, this actor never does commercials and stays away from media. He invests heavily in charity and famous for returning money if he feels the movie did not do well business. Very few actors can do that. I almost enjoyed most part of my stay in that theatre. First time, i saw a guy helping me finding a good seat. May be he was a Rajni fan and they made sure that everybody enjoyed the movie. Another great thing for mankind. When the atmosphere become like that it makes movies worth watching. Venky, an APM in my company said today i am a simple fan of Rajni. Do not stope me. He whistled and told his friends to dance. That's the spirit of Rajni craze and undoubtedly i witnessed the craze of most stylish actor India has produced.
Hats off to Rajnikant and his good works towards human kind..............

US Dollar weakening

Economy is always an exciting yet difficult chapter for me. I was always fascinated by the terms of inflation, exchange rates, value of currency. But after reading business India magazine and rediff.com's business section these complex topics are becoming easier to understand. It is really interesting to understand the tactics employed by US, the super power of economy to sustain it's currency value is great. Read it at rediff. Every Indian who are at US and also other residents are having close look at the dollar values since last few months due to the drop in the price of dollar. As per report goes it has to go down. Interestingly Rice made an interesting comment recently. She said US economy will never slow down and US is never going to leave the top position of economy and technical excellence to Asian countries. She said US will always find a way for another revolution by bringing in best talents and new technology. She may not be wrong but may be. Only time will tell what way the value of dollar and face of new revolution will go.

Lovely Sunday

The weather of this Sunday has been great. I woke up late this sunday as usual around 11 AM. I got a call from one of client side friend. I just woke up and slept again. After a couple of minutes, getting fresh, i looked at the outside. I could not believe my eyes. The Sun was blazing with cool breeze. It seems like an awesome week to follow. Got to lease office to do some paper work for breaking lease. Too much rules in US for all stuff as usual but it was ok. When i look outside from my balcony and sitting at home, i feel as if i am very lazy. May be i will go outside and have a walk for couple of hours. I can do grocery by walking a couple of miles. I do not know about the plan for Kayaking.If it finalizes it will be awesome. I have been a fan of water sports since i landed here. I love the lakes and beaches over here. The water is so clean it invites you to have a swim. I have to learn swim quickly to enjoy the beauty of nature here as well as girls!! Swimming is also a good exercise. All was ready for swimming until we realized that i have to pay huge fee to become member of the club. Looking for any alternative plans to learn swimming. Once i pass the DL test, life will be much easier. Hope that i will hit the bulls eye this time. Now i can not wait to go outside in this lovely weather. i am going to enjoy this weather after 3 days..Let me taste the feeling of nature's beauty.......

Ford the New Coach

Finally the news came..Ford the New Indian cricket coach.Time will tell only how he is going to handle pressure of media and expectations of billions. All are watching how he can take the team to great heights, which they are capable of. As he is coming from a low profile, expectations are less. may be he will yield good results. Only if so called big seniors can give their soul and heart, may be the India royal tiger will hunt again. hopefully the staff that coach gets will support and all will work unitedly to achieve the great result. If they do so, Abhishek's face will give that rare smile and Jatti will have few words fro complain. May be my blog will also tell few word about them in Blue..WOrld is watching guys , go and grab it....The world is your if you believe so..........

Suddenly life is happening

Since last few days life is giving surprises everyday. When i was thinking life is so quite and dull, god has given a bucket of surprises. Few new friends came to US, making it more enjoyable then ever. Got a couple of good offers professionally, which made life more easier. Knocked a couple of roadblocks technically to make life more relaxed. Then there is a surprise call from friend, who came to US recently. It brought some old memories of college life. Those dark older days, which i have tried so hard to forget. May be that was a test of time and i should emerge as winner if i want to progress in life. Yesterday i was a bit surprised by the call and few things we talked about. But as i went sleep and got up fresh, life seemed so different. Everybody in their life goes through this and it is humankind, who should emerge through all this emotional stuff to rise in their life. It has made mo more stronger in emotional front and more believer of god. Lately i have been trying to also avoid Rashmi, so that she becomes more independent and mature. I know she is there always to give me a support, a cousin and friend, more than ever always there to cover me. I really surprise by her innocence and pure heart. I believed girls are complex and hard to understand from my past experiences. But when i look at my cousins,sisters and Rashmi , i think may be my presumption of girls are wrong. Few simple girls are alive till today. My family has become more stronger and i am really happy to see that. It gives you strength, when ever you need help. Then i have got all these amazing friend circle, who never lets le alone, what ever the situation and whenever i may be. I may forget them but they never let the friendship bond die. That's what makes life worth living, nothing to worry, just enjoying as days come by............

Cheeni Kum

Ideally speaking "Cheeni Kum" is a good romantic comedy. It is a small and enjoyable movie. It has two of the great actor from bollywood, Tabu And Amitabh, who are always surpassing their own standards of acting. Living legends least to say. Then Paresh Rawal, who makes you laugh instantly. I went for Oceans 13 and as there is no tickets, ended up seeing this movie and i enjoyed it a lot to the core of my heart. I am a big fan of Amitabh, after i saw "Sharabi". He has always given some of the best performances, may be which are disasters in box office. Tabu has made a come back after "NameShake". The story line was mature and script was good. You could not miss the mom character of Amitabh, which is typically like mother of India and the little girl, who represents the Y generation. Above all it is a good time pass for the weekend..

Best Friends Day

It is really great to have all friends in a group again. All my friends are in so diverse locations and all were indulged in their own life, it is hard to get all on board. But finally due to Subhasish, all friends have started sharing their thoughts in a common group mail. Suddenly it feels as is we having add a again. World seems to change so first again. It seems so enjoyable with friends pouring out their hearts and old nostalgic moments. It was a get together through internet. The thread of friendship is growing stronger day by day. June 8, is observed as best friends day and that day i had 20 mails in my mailbox from my friends. What else you can expect from life. The rain of Seattle is not going to stop, neither the sucking rain weather will die, but due to warmth of the friendship i will be able to live life peaceful however distance land and difficult situation i may be. Let's celebrate the bond friendship again.............

Bheja Fry!!

After a long gap i watched a short and comic hindi movie. It is short and full of humor. consists of no big stars, greta story and script and cool ending. It's "bheja fry". As the name suggests, do not worry that your brain will b fried. It is a must watch comic movie having a great appeal. The main characters bheja is really fried. Vinay pathak is the main character and nobody other can make justice to that character. When the big movies and scripts are turning out to be crap in Bollywoood and Hollywood, this movie comes as a breather. I enjoyed the movie the most and so will every one. It makes fun out of simple day to day life situations and people. May be time for some great minds of movie makes to make an introspect.........

Rain after a hot week

This week has been great in Seattle. The sun is very pleased, so the temp is around 70-80 F. Just like Indian spring in Bangalore. You do not need to worry regarding the jackets or winter wear. It's time for shorts and swim in the pool.But today the temp was so high, people were praying for a rain. Boy!! it also rained for a couple of minutes.It was so cool. Killing weather to sit and enjoy the life outside in thr balcony. All places suddenly seem so nice and enjoyable. Life seems worth living. Suddenly the sleeping city has waken up with bright and colorful. Beautiful girls among beautiful nature is also another added point. I enjoy sitting in my balcony and watch the beauty of the mountains which has a great view. With lights on the mountains dazzling like stars, it gives an view which is so soothing to the heart. Life seems so different in such a weather in balcony, with all pure thoughts created in mind. Enjoy the summer guys........................
